Nick began commentating at a British Eventing grass roots event as a stand-in and it soon became evident that the stand-in had a natural ability to commentate! From there, Nick went on to further commentating at British Eventing competitions and other regional shows and was very quickly commentating at international three day events. Nick is now a well recognised voice within equestrian competition across the UK and further afield and more recently Nick has delivered commentary for motorsport events.
Livestream delivery, voice-over work and presenting have all been a further natural progression for his career with the mic. Notably in 2018, Nick delivered the inaugural English speaking live streaming for the Pau 5* in the South West of France.
Nick has had a lifelong passion for all things equestrian and motorsport after his Grandmother owned racehorses and his late Father introduced the family to equine competition after his own semi-professional motor racing and rallying career.
